What started off as a going away dinner for John ended in a proposal...Well John decided that he wanted to have a going away dinner for his upcoming deployment of 7 months. So he had it at Dave and Busters...It almost took 2 hours to get table so we brought our fun and played lots of games. After dinner John decided to give his "Thank You" speech...Well after he thanked everyone for coming he said it wasn't about him, BUT it was about me. As soon as he said it my sister and 2 friends were in tears...He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him (by this time i was in crying hysterics). Instead of saying yes i kissed him, and he just looked at me and said i never answered him so i finally shook my head yes. The whole dinning room at D&B was cheering and screaming. Poor John was so nervous and i had never seen him nervous before. It was an amazing night with friends and family. I am so lucky to have such an amazing man in my life. ;)
